Every year, since 1995, East Windsor Volunteer Fire Company #2 opens the fire station to the community for a Halloween Party!   It is a fun-filled day with a D.J. in station, hot dogs, cookies and candy for everyone!  Events of the day include firetruck rides, arts & crafts table, bean bag tosses, hayrides and our grand Halloween Parade led by Sparky the firedog.  Everyone who registers for the parade gets a goody bag loaded with fun Halloween treats.  Infants up through adults win prizes and are chosen by our special panelist of judges.  Last year, our party was attended by approximately 300 children and 200 adults.  Mayor Janice Mironov and our East Windsor Township Council members join us, as well as the local newspapers.

It is our opportunity to get to know our community and their friends and family.  Tables are set up offering Fire Prevention information, handouts and videos.  Most important, children of all ages get to know firefighters and learn fire prevention in a comfortable, friendly environment.  Membership recruiting tables are set up and firefighters are on hand to answer all of your questions!

The party is co-sponsored with the Twin Rivers Trust, who sponsors the D.J., handles registration of approximately 300 parade entries, provides the hayrides and helps throughout the day to make sure everything goes smoothly and everyone has fun.  The party is funded entirely through generous contributions from our local businesses - large and small.  These donations are the reason we can come together every year and offer this wonderful event.  It is just another reminder of how community friendly our businesses are!

Everyone is welcome, costumes are optional and the only requirement is to have alot of fun!
